Hazel Turns 1

Hazel's Birthday party was a bit rushed since it happened right before we went to Hilton Head this year.  We invited immediate family only and it seemed just the perfect amount of people. Not to mention, the gifts. We have more stuff than we know what to do with already. I think next year, we will just ask for "experiences" rather than physical gifts. The kids prefer playing with scrap paper and cardboard boxes anyway, am I right? Anyway, the party was a blast and Hazel is blowing age 1 out of the water. Please slow down, time! I feel like I'm barely keeping up. I can see how Michelle Duggar has a bazillion kids....they just gro up too fast and you feel like you missed it all. Arg!!! Nothing says summertime quite like a good old hose-down in the backyard. Good thing we finally bought a house, because I doubt our old neighbors would've liked driving by to see naked babies on the front step. Ha!
