Grandma's Dresses Part 2

Hazel was more than excited to show off her ruffled butt in another one of the dresses from Grandma's house. She doesn't have enough hair to keep her vintage tiara on but she liked playing with it anyway.

Grandma's Dress

As a child, my Grandma Fay's storage room was my haven when we would go to visit her in Manor. There were boxes and boxes of old toys and dolls. When I got a bit older, I traded in the boxes of dolls for boxes of vintage clothes. It was a dream for me and the beginning of my obsession with fashion. On one of my visits, I found some adorable hand made dresses that were worn by my Mom as a baby. I quickly stashed them away for a day far far away when I would be able to play dress up with my own daughter. The day has come and I can't imagine a more rewarding feeling. It's like life has come full circle.

Christmas 2013

We had 3 days in a row of Christmas, so I will divide this post up into our three days. I desperately need a decent flash for my camera, so many of these pictures are not nice. I wanted to share anyway.

December 24, 2013 - Santa St. Onge visited my family's house. Layla is a bit of a supermodel, so there are a lot of pics of her. Hugh refuses to allow me to photograph him most of the time.

Grandma Fay and my Mom getting dinner prepped for cooking while the kids patiently wait to open their gifts.

I gave everyone sleep masks by Bucky. They are life changing.

Hugh got a "hockey hitter"

The pirate ship was the hit of Christmas.

This lucky lady got a brand new telephoto lens.

Teething baby. She did NOT get any pop. Just plastic.

We were lucky enough to have Grandma Fay here for the second time this year. She sure makes the holidays feel special.

December 25, 2013 - Santa visited us at home. Then we had a feast at the St. Onge house.

Shenanigans.

The apron my Mom made for her company's Christmas contest. You will also notice there are very few photos of her. She chose to have her face lasered (burnt to a crisp). Not a great look for photographs.

December 26, 2013 - Santa Hay visited the in-law's. Chris had the camera most of the day and he neglected to keep up on his duty. Sorry for the lack of photos!

Mark was very surprised to receive a handmade (by Matt) caddy bib.
