Ode to My Sling

This week has been fussy for Hazel. We've been reaching for our sling constantly, and I've fallen in love again with babywearing. My closest friends and family know that I am nothing short of thorough when I commit to something. When I discovered Sakura Bloom slings, it kicked babywearing up a serious notch. They are so easy to use and incredibly comfortable, not to mention, beautiful. 

There are no bells and whistles, and a sling can be balled up nice and small for transport in your purse or diaper bag. I've tried every carrier out there and quickly gave up on babywearing. For us, slings are the only way to go. It allows us to stay close and cuddly and also get so much done around the house or when we are out at the store. I don't wear Hazel all day (I know it seems that way). For us, the sling is used when she's fussy, or when she wants to be held. Babywearing gives me the ability to stay sane and meet Hazel's needs at the same time. Even Hugh has gotten a few rides when he's gotten too tired to walk at the mall. I recommend any of my friends that are expecting or getting ready to start families to invest in a sling. You won't regret it!
